Ingredients
Wheat flour-1 cup
Sugar powder-1 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Soda water-1/2 cup
Oil -1 tbsp
Paneer-100gm(optional)
Onion-1
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Coriander leaves(chopped-few
Method
Mix salt and sugar in wheat flour and mix.
Knead a normal dough with soda water.
Apply some oil to the dough and cover. Let it rest/rise for 3-4 hours.
Finely chop the onion and crumble paneer.
Mix chopped onion and paneer and add a little salt and some coriander leaves to this mixture.
Now heat the tawa and take the balls from the soft dough and roll chapati.
Apply some ghee and add 1 tsp of paneer filling in it.
Cover the filling folding the chapati and apply some cumin seeds and coriander leaves on the top.
Again roll the ball to the chapati and apply some water on the lower side while holding the chapati in hand.
Turn the chapati on tawa touching the water applied side to tawa so that it sticks to tawa.
When you feel the chapati is becoming dry flip the tawa upside down on flame and let the chapati cook on. flame directly.
You can check the chapati by turning tawa once or twice and can adjust its place for evenly cooking of naan.
Turn the tawa in the right position, cook for another 1 minute and take off the naan from tawa using a spatula if needed.
Apply desi ghee and serve hot with masala chana.
